Who We Work With

Most of our patients arrive one of four ways

If you recognise yourself below, we have almost certainly treated your problem this week.

Athletes mid-season

CrossFit and barbell athletes, runners, martial artists, high school and collegiate sport. The first question is how to keep you training, not whether to stop you.

Active adults

Lifting, hiking, the river, keeping up with your kids. Pain that turned up without an injury to blame it on, and has not gone away by itself.

People told to rest

Who rested, felt better, went back to what they were doing, and hurt again. That cycle is a pattern worth treating, not bad luck.

Physical Therapy Services

Your First Visit

Ninety minutes, and you leave with a plan

Not an intake appointment that books you a second appointment to hear the findings. Treatment starts on day one.

  1. We listen first

What you were doing more of before it started is usually where the answer is hiding.

  2. We test under load

Pain at rest says very little. What your body does under the movement that hurts says a great deal.

  3. We treat the same day

Hands-on work, needling or loading as appropriate — not a plan to begin next week.

  4. You leave knowing what to do

What to train, what to modify, roughly how long it takes, and what would change our mind.

FAQs

Before you book

Do you only treat athletes?

No. A good share of our patients do not play a sport at all — they lift, hike, work on their feet, or simply want to stop hurting when they get out of the car. The approach is the same either way: find what the body will tolerate, and build from there.

How is this different from physical therapy through my insurance?

Time and continuity, mostly. Every visit here is a full hour with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy — no aides, no double-booking, and no handing you off partway through a plan. Your plan also ends when you are back to what you were doing, not when a visit allowance runs out. More on the cash-based model.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on what is wrong and how long it has been there, and anyone quoting a number before assessing you is guessing. Recent, load-related pain often turns around in a few weeks. Tendon problems and post-surgical strength deficits run in months, because tissue adapts on its own schedule. We give you an honest expectation at the evaluation and revisit it as we go.

What areas do you serve?

The clinic is in New Braunfels, and patients travel in from Gruene, Canyon Lake, Spring Branch, Bulverde, Garden Ridge, Schertz, Cibolo, Seguin, McQueeney, San Marcos and the north side of San Antonio.
